Welcome to the “Digital Illustration Workshop for Beginners”!In this course, you will be introduced to a basic illustration process and get a little bit of everything: digital illustration basics, shading basics, lighting basics, character design. At the end, you will end up with a cool pumpkin illustration and a basic overview on the illustration process. The course is perfect for beginners in illustration, who would love to get through an illustration process quickly but still learn a ton of new things.A simple process and a basic overview can give you so much you will get a grasp from what an illustrator does and get a bite from topics that you can deepen in the future. You can realize during the process what you need to learn a bit more about and find courses about those topics, but still not lose the fun of creating and getting a project done. You will be guided through the process, have everything explained, we will go in baby steps, so even very beginners will be all set for a successful class project. During the course I will be using an iPad and Procreate but you are free to follow me in any software. You will need a basic working knowledge of the program you will be working in even though I will comment on every step I will make. By the end of this course you will be ready to apply the knowledge in various scenarios and to illustrate simple objects or little characters on your own not just pumpkins:)So are you ready to start?
