Focus is mainly on understanding and forming simple sentences to be able to read and converse in day to day life. The two main important parts of any sentence - noun/ pronoun and verb are covered in detail. Sandhi (conjunction) is very common in Sanskrit and so many widely used conjunction rules are explained with examples. Upsarga (prefixes) is another important and widely used topic and hence that also is covered. Also topics like Dhatusadhit avyay (gerunds) are covered. Not just grammar topics, but also what the objects used in day to day life are called is shared. Numbers from 1-100 are shared. Sanskrit Subhashit is a vast topic and it exhibits the power and beauty of this language to convey deep meaning in beautiful way and yet in minimum words. This course shares few Subhashitas as well. As a Sanskrit student, we should also be knowing its unique features, reasons why is it still so popular and found suitable for computer programming.
