In this course, you will learn the basics of meditation, and how to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life. The meditations and practices in this course are specifically designed to help people who suffer from fatigue, whether it is due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or any other cause. Included in this course are sessions on the benefits and different types of mediation and mindfulness, some basic meditation sessions that are designed to increase energy and promote relaxation, mindfulness techniques that can easily be incorporated into your day-to-day activities, and a special yogic relaxation technique that will not only help you sleep, but also help to replace lost sleep due to insomnia. There are many different causes of fatigue, whether it’s stress and anxiety, pressure of work, insomnia, or medical conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or other chronic conditions. Meditation and mindfulness can help with all of these. However, it is important that you have first checked with a doctor to see if your fatigue is due to some underlying medical condition that needs special attention. If your fatigue is a symptom of any condition or disease, you can still use this programme. Meditation is a completely safe practice that can be used alongside any other treatment that you may be undergoing. If you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, this course will certainly be of help - but you should also be addressing other areas of your life such as diet, light exercise. These areas are all addressed in my main course, CFS - The Road to Recovery. But if you are not ready for the larger course, then this mindfulness course can serve as an introduction and lead into that course if you wish.
