Overview Programming is that notorious college freshman subject that everyone finds extremely hard. But it doesn’t have to be that way. In this course I explain the very basics of C++ programming. I explain core C++ concepts using slides. We also will write sample programs, and I explain every line of code used, every function called, and leave no line of code unexplained. I developed the material in this course after several iterations of an introductory programming course. The result I now present to you is a combination of careful deliberation about how to explain a topic, and incorporating student feedback to respond to student needs. If you’ve had trouble understanding the very basics of code before, what it all means should be very clear to you after studying this course. When you are finished with this course, you should have a very solid foundation in C++ upon which to build other skills.
