The purpose of this course is to provide a learner with an opportunity to learn everything that is fundamentally required to build their first automation/project using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and ReFramework. The target audience for this course is the non-technical user (more commonly referred to as a “citizen developer” who may lack fundamental computer programing skills and knowledge. The course begins from scratch (no software installed and no UiPath accounts created on their various websites). After the software is downloaded and installed and all the necessary accounts are created the course first provides an overview of UiPath Studio. After the introduction to UiPath Studio is completed the next several lectures are focused on providing basic programming logic skills and knowledge by utilizing a direct “hands-on” approach with UiPath Studio. As opposed to the UiPath Academy website a significant emphasis is placed on the “why” behind each of the various activities that are available to the UiPath Developer as opposed to running through the motions of simply adding and configuring an activity without understanding the purposes and background behind each respective activity. Once the fundamental concepts are presented a “mini-project” is completed in order to demonstrate how all of the activities work together in a full fledged automation/project. Before moving onto the final two projects of the course, some more intermediate level knowledge is required. This next major lesson focuses on understanding what UiPath Orchestrator is and also how it is used in conjunction with the ReFramework template. As the final two projects in the course will utilize both concepts (Orchestrator and ReFramework). The final two projects are derived from the UiPathAcademy website; Deep Dive Course - “Calculate Client Security Hash” and “Generate Yearly Report” projects. The goal or expectation is to educate the learner on how to use the Orchestrator and ReFramework by completing both of these projects. The learner should earn a passing score after successfully completing both of these projects. Upon completion of this course the learner should have enough knowledge and experience to complete their first project independently. This course was designed and developed from the perspective of how Iwish Iwould have first learned UiPath myself. Ipersonally found the UiPath Academy website difficult and intimidating to follow along with. This training course was developed to be less intimidating and with a higher degree of emphasis towards the non-technical (or novice technical level) learner in mind. Hope you enjoy the course! Thanks for attending!
