This course will take an in-depth look into Google Classroom. Google classroom is used all over the education world to stream assignments, increase collaboration, promote communication, and used as a grading tool. Google Classroom can be used by teachers, students, guardians, and administrators. Educators can create assignments that include an interactive online game, an entertaining YouTube video, or an eye-catching slideshow that is chock full of important information and images. Google Classroom makes learning fun and catches the attention of todays technology-driven students. The Google Classroom sub topics included are the Assessment, Communication, Creativity & Innovation. Differentiation, and Family & Community Engagement. After each section you will complete a quiz confirming comprehension of those topics. Post completion of these topic will result in training hours being submitted to Pennsylvania’s Department of Education’s Act 48 hour requirements. Teachers are required to complete 180 hours of Professional Development per every 6 years to maintain their active status. Not all schools provide all 180 hours for Educators. Our hope is to help train teachers on the Google Classroom platform and how to implement them on your own classroom. Continue to read if you are a PAeducator. At the end of this course fill out the attached Google Form in section 5 in order to have your Act 48 hours submitted into the state. Cloudcast Training is an approved provider for the state of PA.
