In Part 8 of the Foundation of Magic Series you will learn about how print culture, secret societies, a new scientific worldview and the birth of the knowledge economy shaped the birth of a modern magical worldview. In section 2, I introduce important technologies that made modern print culture possible. In section 3, I discuss secret societies to gain insight into the societal contexts of the Enlightenment. In Section 4, I outline some of the theoretical implications of studying magic during the enlightenment period.
