They say everyone can dance and that is sort of true. The question is how long will it take?Honestly? It can take years! At our studio, we experience it every day. Some people walk in and they are born dancers. Some - well, need time. This course is built exactly as our real-life Beginner Course and comes from years of observing our students and tweaking the order of introducing new elements - so the person can connect the dots and use the previous experience to capture the new one. It consists of 8 lessons in which phase by phase we show you all you need to know and so, you can practice everything at your own pace. You can also stop and rewind to hear better or to understand better. There are also 2 of us demonstrating the sequences whereas in real-life class - only one of us is teaching. This course is an excellent introduction to Argentine Tango. Clear, well-structured, progressive. It can serve as a complement to the real-life course as it gives you all the information and all the exercises in order. The real-life course is also an excellent complement to this virtual course! Its true! But if you are shy, or simply like learning things at your own pace (or you leave far away from us: -) start here. START NOW! PLEASENOTE: This is FUNDAMENTALS COURSE. This course will teach you how to DANCE, but will NOT teach you how to do boloes, ganchos, sacadas, volcadas, colgadas, and all the elements of which you think when you hear TANGO. The poems will come later - this course will teach you how to speak tango on the basic conversational level. This course will allow you to take control of your two left feet, of your body, of your balance, and start improvising by gaining an understanding of HOW you communicate your needs and hear your partner’s response through the body sensations. We recommend studying no more than one lesson a week and practicing in between. Understanding the dance takes time. Your brain and body need the time to process.
