In this course, I will be showing students how to develop Android applications that can be published to the Google Play Store using Android Studio. This course is in Java. Don’t worry if you haven’t programmed before, I will go over the basics of Java and you will write your very first line of code if you haven’t already. All that is needed is a computer or laptop. Can be either Mac or PC but will require the installation of Android Studio. Recommended 8GB RAM for running Android Studio but 4 GB will work. We will build a few apps and I will go over the basics of Android Studio such as layouts. This course is perfect for those that want to learn how to build Android Apps and publish them to the Google Play Store. It also has a brief introduction to Java as Java is one of the programming languages that Android Studio uses. The course includes programming exercises and quizzes throughout, not just video content. I made sure not to go too fast in videos and explain points so that viewers can understand the code and not just copy the code. In order to be a successful programmer you must learn how to write good code and I will be going over coding principles.
